NHR recognizes that its shareholders' operations impact on the environment. These impacts will be kept to a minimum as far as it is reasonable. In order to achieve this NHR and its shareholders subscribe to the following principles:
Compliance with applicable laws and good forestry and sawmilling practices
NHR is accredited with and subject to the Forestry Code of Practice set down by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
NHR's shareholders have adopted a code of practice for sawmilling industry based on that used in New South Wales
